The sample verdict report

One page. One verdict. — with verifiable records

Buy with conditions

Sample (illustrative): the decisive factor is defect risk and purchasing conditions — full-defect equivalents per 350 g [breakdown to be filled from QC record; specialty threshold 0 Category 1 / ≤5 full Category 2 per 350 g]. If a weight-based share is shown, state numerator/denominator; it is not the SCA threshold. Conditions (lower price, or sorting plus re-checking the sorted sample) are conditions, not cures.

The full page is the actual report template, rendered with sample data. Numbers on it are placeholders for layout — they are not real cupping results.

How the verdict traces to the records

  • Verdict → decisive factor. The report names one decisive factor and states its basis, conditions, and evidence scope.
  • Scores → sensory log. Every score in the verdict traces to a numbered original record in the sensory log (R-03 in the sample). The sample total 85.20 is a layout placeholder using legacy-form arithmetic for illustration; real deliveries use the protocol stated in the report and do not present the legacy ten-attribute form as the current SCA method.
  • Defects → QC record. The full-defect equivalents per 350 g (by Category 1 / Category 2 breakdown, with conversion table source and version stated), moisture, and density figures trace to the QC summary (E-01 to E-04 in the sample).
  • Unmeasured = marked. Anything not measured is marked "not measured" — never filled in.
